“Not all movies are dark enough for the Film Noir Festival”
The Noir City Festival only screens the darkest of the dark.
[OOH] We’ll tease fans with bus shelter ads that challenge their standard for darkness.
Leading up to the festival, billboards that illuminate at night will run in sinister locations, like alleyways and underpasses around the city.
[social] We’ll have our fans try their hand at making movies dark enough for the Noir City Festival on Twitter, and the most creative takes will get shared to our main account!
The day of the festival, we’ll send push notifications to people within a 1 mile radius inviting them to “go dark for the day.”
If they agree, we’ll turn everything on their phone to dark mode for 24 hours, which will serve as their ticket to the festival.
People can enjoy popcorn at the festival, too...provided of course that it’s dark enough….
